A second floor for stock you would rather not run.
Auction Haus takes consignments from other auction houses, liquidators, and wholesalers. You keep a share of what it makes. The building, the photography, the bidder list, and the pickup are ours.
Two reasons stock leaves the trade
They are opposite ends of the same yard, and plenty of houses have both running at once.
A second channel
The lot does not suit your buyers. Your sale is already full. A consignor has brought you something you would rather not turn away, and would rather not run either.
It goes into our auction instead of taking up your floor, and you keep a share of what it makes. Your consignor stays your consignor.
One last shot before scrap
Stock that has been through your sale once already, or twice, and has stopped being inventory and started being a disposal cost.
Whatever sells is money that was going to be a bill instead. Whatever does not sell is no worse off than it already was.
The lots that come over from the trade
Unsold lots
What did not meet reserve, or drew no bids, in a sale that has already closed.
Overflow
Stock that arrived after the catalogue was full and would otherwise wait for the next sale.
Outside your catalogue
Goods that do not fit what your buyers turn up for, in a category you do not usually run.
Liquidation pallets
The part of a buy that is not worth breaking out and cataloguing at your end.
Returns and open-box
Wholesale lots that came in mixed, opened, or short of their packaging.
Aged stock before scrap
Anything sitting on a disposal list that has not gone in the bin yet.
From your yard to our floor
-
01
You tell us what you have
A list, a photo of the skids, or a walk through the yard. We tell you what we would run and what we would not before anything moves.
-
02
The freight gets arranged
You deliver it, or we book a truck and pass the cost on. Loading at your end is worth sorting out early, so the intake form asks whether you have a dock, a forklift, or neither.
-
03
We photograph and list it
Every item is photographed and written up with its condition. Your labels and lot numbers come off before anything goes online.
-
04
We handle the bidders
Bidding, questions, payment, and collection are all on our side. Nothing comes back to your office.
-
05
You get a statement
A statement with a line for each item and what it sold for, so it reconciles against whatever you owe your own consignor.
The terms for trade consignments
What the trade asks first
Will you compete with my sale?
We run our own schedule and our own bidder list. If a lot would do better in your sale, run it in your sale.
Will my consignors see your name?
Not unless you want them to. Listings are anonymous by default and your labels come off before anything goes online.
What if only some of it is worth running?
We tell you which skids we would take and which we would not before the freight is booked, so you are not paying to move what we would only bin.
Tell us what you have
Send this over and we will get in touch to talk through the stock and the freight. Four questions are needed. The rest help us plan the pickup, and you can skip any of them.
Thanks, we have got it
We will be in touch to talk through the stock and the freight. If you would rather talk sooner, text 519-807-6720.
Or skip the form and text us
Ask for Pat. A list or a photo of the skids is enough to say whether it is worth moving.
